MACLAGAN
Maclagan is a town in the Rosalie Shire, boasting a popular winery and situated at the foothills of the Bunya Mountains.
Stop in at the store for supplies and directions before setting off for Rimfire Winery. The countryside is best admired while sitting under the shade of the natural tree-top canopy of Rimfire's courtyard - of course with a glass of wine in hand.
Enjoy wine tasting at the cellar door, or have one of the gorgeous platters served from Black Bull Cafe onsite.
Be sure to explore the network of beautiful bushwalking tracks nearby in the Bunya Mountains National Park. If you're not too easily spooked, venture through the old Muntapa Rail Tunnel and duck to avoid the colony of bats that call it home.
